Enabling hydrogeological research

My contributions to scientific tools and long-term monitoring programmes help turn field observations into reproducible hydrogeological knowledge.

  • Scientific tools: I have contributed to the development of XLKarst and ESPERE, providing tools to support hydrogeological analysis and the interpretation of groundwater systems.
  • Open research data: Through long-term monitoring and research observatories, I have contributed to the production and public dissemination of datasets that enable researchers to investigate groundwater dynamics, compare sites and test conceptual models.
  • Research infrastructure: These contributions are part of collaborative efforts within OZCAR national research infrastructure and observatories, notably SNO Karst and SNO H+.

By combining scientific tools, sustained field observations and openly accessible data, my work supports reproducible research and helps improve our understanding of groundwater flow, aquifer functioning and interactions between groundwater and the environment.
